The Spark Within: Grieg, Mahler, & Brahms

Our upcoming September concert is filled with meaning for our Music Director as the Orchestra will be performing the work that helped inspire him to become a musician, Brahms’ Symphony No. 4. The work is known for its passion, tragedy and lament. This monumental work will be paired alongside some of Mahler’s lieder from Des Knaben Wunderhorn sung by soloist Ann Fogler and we will begin our concert with Grieg’s tone poem, In Autumn.
